Ethylene should be used when combustible gas pressure relief valve (decompression table), and the detection of airtightness of the pipeline, the use of gas is strictly prohibited. Switch the gas valve when the action must be slow, no gas should be kept when the cylinder valve closed.
Used cylinders should be retained in accordance with the provisions of the residual pressure of more than 0.05MPa, flammable gas should be retained more than 0.2MPa residual pressure. All kinds of cylinders should be dedicated to the bottle, must be regularly carried out safety inspection.

Chemicals: Ethylene is the starting material for several industrial syntheses. It is employed as an intermediate in the chemical industry and for the production of plastics.
Food & Beverages: An ethylene / nitrogen mixture supplied cylinders is used to control ripening of fruit, especially bananas. A concentration of a few ppm in the warehouse atmosphere is used.
